Program Overview
Electronically Controlled Air Suspension (ECAS) for 6 x 2 and 6 x 4 trucks with rear air suspensions. Overview ECAS System The electronically controlled air suspension system is compatible with the WABCO Antilock Braking System (ABS) and Automatic Traction Control (ATC) system, C and D versions.

- The ECAS is designed to be brief. It takes approximately 20 minutes to perform. Has the ECAS been validated? The ECAS has been validated against extensive neuropsychology in ALS/Motor Neurone Disease with high sensitivity and specificity. It has also been validated in Parkinson’s Disease, Progressive Supranuclear Palsy, and Young Onset Dementia.
EOIR Courts & Appeals System
The EOIR Courts & Appeals System (ECAS) is part of an overarching information technology modernization effort at EOIR. Its goal is to phase out paper filing and processing, and to retain all records and case-related documents in electronic format. Once fully implemented, ECAS will further enable the timely, fair, and uniform adjudication of immigration cases across the agency while providing cost and time savings for all parties. Under the e-Government Act of 2002 and Office of Management and Budget Directive M-19-21, Transition of Electronic Records (June 28, 2019), all permanent records in Federal agencies will be managed electronically by December 31, 2022. The staged, agencywide deployment of ECAS began in November 2019. Find out where ECAS is available now.

There are two ways to gain certification to administer the ECAS.
- Option B – Online training (password restricted)

The 3 steps to completing ECAS training are as follows:
Step 1: Watch training video
The video below provides guidance on the administration of the ECAS. You should view this prior to attending training. In the video, Judy Newton (National Nursing Lead for Motor Neurone Disease) performs the cognitive interview and Sharon Abrahams provides guidance on the scoring procedure.

Step 3: Attend Masterclass for certification
Certification for usage can be obtained by attending a one-day Masterclass, facilitated by Prof Sharon Abrahams. This programme is certified by the European Network for the Cure of ALS.
